FIRST, LET'S TALK ABOUT THE VIDEO GAME
The Last of Us was released in June 2013 for PlayStation 3, followed by its brilliant prequel 'The Last of Us: Left Behind', in which we discovered that Ellie, the protagonist of the story, had had a beautiful relationship with another survivor. HOW FAITHFUL WILL THE SERIES BE TO THE VIDEO GAME?
As far as we know, the series will be a faithful adaptation of the video game, clearly, there will be variations, such as the decrease in violence or the hero archetype that Joel will be.

On the other hand, the live-action is understood as an adaptation that will take some creative licenses and not as a faithful replica of the video game narrative. Something that also opens up a huge range of possibilities.
