There's great news for Xbox Game Pass users. Microsoft confirmed this morning the games that will arrive to the subscription service during December and early January. As anticipated, there will be very important and attractive releases to close the year.
In addition to day 1 releases and the arrival of more Activision games, there will also be surprises for Standard and Core subscribers, as both will receive more games in the coming days. As if that weren't enough, prominent indie games will return to the service for consoles and PC.
What Games Are Coming to Xbox Game Pass in December?
The list starts, of course, with Indiana Jones and the Great Circle, one of December's most anticipated releases and the standout title coming to Xbox Game Pass and PC Game Pass in just a few days. MachineGames’ title will be a day-one release, available to enjoy with an Ultimate subscription or via the PC service.
As confirmed a few hours ago, Crash Team Racing Nitro-Fueled is also making its way to the console service. Activision's racing game will be available across all subscription tiers, including Core, the most basic plan.
Additionally, Forza Motorsport, the latest installment in the franchise, will now be playable with a Standard subscription. This was previously unavailable as the racing game launched as a day-one title, a benefit not included in the Standard plan.
Players will also gain access to EA Sports WRC, Overthrown, and Wildfrost. Lastly, notable indie titles will make a return to the service. We're referring to Carrion and Road 96. Below is the complete list of titles along with their respective dates and platforms:

Xbox Game Pass Core Will Receive More Games
Microsoft promised that Xbox Game Pass Core, the service that replaced Xbox LIVE Gold, would receive more games periodically. The company has delivered on its promise, and users of this plan will soon enjoy additional titles.
Starting tomorrow, the service will include Crash Team Racing Nitro-Fueled, DayZ, and Goat Simulator. Remember that Xbox Game Pass Core provides access to a curated game selection, online multiplayer, and exclusive deals for a monthly fee of $9.99 USD or $169 MXN.
