The Game Awards 2024 is just around the corner, and Fortnite doesn't want to miss out on this grand celebration. For that reason, Epic Games and Geoff Keighley, the host and producer of the event, confirmed that the Battle Royale will once again receive a very special experience for the occasion.
In case you don't remember, The Game Awards 2023 introduced a new category to award the best island in Fortnite. What’s interesting is that voting took place through the Battle Royale. Well, this dynamic will return once again, and the community will be able to vote for their favorite island.
How to vote for the best island in Fortnite at The Game Awards 2024?
Through his social media, Geoff Keighley announced the The Game Awards voting in Fortnite, a dynamic in which players of the Battle Royale will participate to choose the best island of the year. Epic Games created a special stage for the occasion and also digitized Keighley with MetaHuman technology, so he will be present in the voting in a very realistic way.
To participate in this event, you just need to enter the themed island of The Game Awards with the code 0853-1358-8532. The voting will take place on November 11, at 9 PM ET. The winning island will be revealed the next day.

Additionally, players will be able to enjoy a special game mode, where they will have to test their combat skills in an arena. There will be waves of objectives to destroy and earn coins to upgrade equipment.

When will The Game Awards 2024 take place and which games will compete for GOTY?
Players have an important date next month, as The Game Awards 2024 will take place on the night of December 12, 2024.
