Reddit user Slight_Coat1945 shared how he ordered a PlayStation 5 Pro on Amazon a few days ago, patiently waiting with excitement to unbox Sony's latest console. However, things went awry. His package arrived later than expected, and when it did, it wasn't what he hoped for.
“Hello, I'm very excited and down at the same time. I ordered a PS5 Pro on Amazon, and it should come today. The emphasis is on 'should' because I had to write for half the day to Amazon support because the supplier simply drove past me and first made strange rounds on the shipment tracking through the whole district, as well as stops in a Net parking lot.”
The gamer added that, after his complaints, the package eventually arrived. However, he noticed something unusual: it was sealed with clear tape and showed signs of tampering. As a precaution, he took photos and contacted Amazon support again.
The company instructed him to open the package and document the process. That’s when the major letdown occurred. Instead of his PlayStation 5 Pro, he found a bag of Ariel detergent.
“The support team told me I should open the package, which I did. And there it was — the Playstation Ariel Detergent Edition.”
