One of the downsides of enjoying video games through a subscription service is that the content isn't permanent, and sometimes the title you were enjoying leaves the platform. Naturally, this impacts PlayStation Plus users, Sony's service that will lose 16 great games in December.
This is bad news for subscribers to the various service tiers, as the list includes games from renowned franchises and acclaimed indie titles. Among them are celebrated productions from Capcom, Square Enix, SEGA, and other studios.
Which games will leave PlayStation Plus in December?
Capcom and Mega Man fans should act quickly, as the latest installment in the saga and two excellent collections are on their way out. Specifically, Mega Man 11 and the titles from Mega Man: Legacy Collection will leave PlayStation Plus next month.
Other standout titles also leaving the service for PS5 and PS4 include Stranger of Paradise: Final Fantasy Origin, Judgment, Dead Island Definitive Edition, Dead Island: Riptide Definitive Edition, and Vampire: The Masquerade - Coteries of New York.
The indie game lineup will also take a hit, losing titles like Metal: Hellsinger, Moonscars, Tinykin, Evil Genius 2: World Domination, Prodeus, and other fun and acclaimed games.
PlayStation Plus subscribers can mark their calendars now, as all the games listed—and a few more—will no longer be available starting December 17. Below is the full list:

PlayStation Plus just added some great games
Not all news is bad, as Sony added 16 amazing games to the PlayStation Plus catalog this week, now available for Extra and Premium (Deluxe) subscribers. Thanks to this, players can once again enjoy Grand Theft Auto V.
