Fortnite: this new PlayStation 5 bundle will include plenty of rewards and V-Bucks for Battle Royale player, when will it launch?

PlayStation and Epic Games have a surprise in store for Fortnite players looking for a new console. Through an announcement, they revealed a new PlayStation 5 bundle packed with rewards for the Battle Royale community.

Introducing the Cobalt Star bundle, which will include a Slim console with all its accessories, cosmetic content for Epic Games’ title, V-Bucks, and additional rewards. Below, we’ll share all the details.

What Does the New PS5 Slim and Fortnite Bundle Include?

PlayStation revealed that the Cobalt Star bundle includes a PlayStation 5 Slim, a DualSense controller, and all the necessary accessories to use the console. Naturally, the system comes preloaded with Astro's Playroom. The package will have two versions: one with a disc drive and one without.

So, what does it offer for Fortnite? Players will receive 1000 V-Bucks to spend on the cosmetics of their choice. Additionally, they’ll unlock all the items from the Cobalt Star set.

In total, the bundle grants 8 cosmetic items, with the highlight being the Cobalt Snow Pie outfit, which also features a variant for LEGO Fortnite. It’s important to note that none of these items are exclusive to the bundle, as they are also available in the Battle Royale shop. Below is an image and the list of rewards:

When Will the New PS5 Slim and Fortnite Bundle Launch?

If this bundle caught your attention, you’ll want to save up soon. The PlayStation 5 Slim Cobalt Star bundle will be released in a staggered rollout across regions. It will first launch in Canada on November 21. Then, it will arrive in the United States and other regions (possibly Latin America) on November 22.

Finally, it will debut in Japan on November 29. Epic Games confirmed that the console will be available through the PlayStation online store and select retailers. As of now, the price of the bundle has not been disclosed, nor has its availability in all regions been confirmed.
