Fortunately, it seems the wait is almost over, as a clue suggests that we may soon see it on Xbox Series X and Xbox Series S.

It's a fact that Black Myth: Wukong is being developed for Xbox. Both Microsoft and Game Science have confirmed that the game will arrive sooner or later on Xbox Series X and Xbox Series S; however, it hasn’t happened yet, and the community is eagerly waiting for news.

Fortunately for them, it seems the port of Black Myth: Wukong is closer than many think. Recently, the Xbox Series X|S version of Black Myth: Wukong appeared in a listing on the ESRB website, the U.S. organization responsible for rating video games for sale in that country and other territories in the Americas.

Typically, when a game appears on the ESRB site, it means the organization has already reviewed it. So, it’s common that when an undated game shows up in this registry, its release is confirmed days or weeks later. This clue seems to indicate that the Xbox port of Black Myth: Wukong is very close to being announced.

Why Hasn’t Black Myth: Wukong Released on Xbox?

The reasons why Black Myth: Wukong hasn’t reached Xbox Series X|S are unclear. In fact, multiple sources have reported contradictory information about the situation.

On one hand, some say the port has been delayed because Game Science needed more time to fix a technical issue related to Xbox Series S. On the other hand, some sources claim that Sony paid for a secret timed exclusivity deal to keep the initial hype of Black Myth: Wukong on PlayStation 5.
