Dragon Ball: Sparking! ZERO has stolen the spotlight recently, boasting one of the best launches in the franchise's history. Naturally, the community is eager to learn about the downloadable content (DLC) coming in the months ahead. In line with that, Bandai Namco has just shared exciting news that will delight fans of the saga’s new anime.
The fighting game developed by Spike Chunsoft launched with a total of 182 characters, including transformations, fusions, and alternative versions. While the roster is already extensive, it will eventually expand with more than 20 DLC fighters.
It’s worth noting that the Season Pass for Dragon Ball: Sparking! ZERO is divided into 3 packs, which will debut through 2025. The first confirmed fighters are Gamma 1 and Gamma 2, who will be included in the inaugural DLC set. Now, the developers have revealed two more characters that will be arriving later.

Vegeta (Mini) and Glorio from Dragon Ball Daima will be playable characters in Dragon Ball: Sparking! ZERO
This week, Bandai Namco shared new details about the game based on the anime by Toei Animation. Specifically, they teased some new content and confirmed that two characters from Dragon Ball Daima, the franchise's latest animated series, will join the roster at a yet undisclosed date.
The first fighter is Vegeta (Mini), the child version of the Saiyan Prince, who—like the rest of the Z Fighters—was turned into a child as part of a conspiracy orchestrated by the main villains of the new anime. The second character is Glorio, the demon gunslinger who will assist Goku in his upcoming adventure.
The team behind Dragon Ball: Sparking! ZERO has not revealed how these characters will look in the game or what their special abilities will be. Both fighters will debut in the second wave of DLC, alongside other characters from the new anime, which is currently airing on Crunchyroll and other streaming services.
In addition to Gamma 1 and Gamma 2, more fighters from the movie Dragon Ball Super: Super Hero are expected to join the playable roster. The third DLC pack will also focus on Dragon Ball Daima, but it is still unknown which fighters will be featured.
