GTA Online: Halloween event "Ludendorff Cemetery Survival" exceeds expectations with over 400 million zombies eliminated

Recently, GTA Online launched its thrilling Halloween-themed event, "Ludendorff Cemetery Survival." In this mode, players venture into the North Yankton area, which has been overrun by millions of zombies for mysterious reasons.

For the first time, Rockstar Games introduced a leaderboard to track the number of zombies eliminated by the community. Players responded overwhelmingly, surpassing every goal set. Initially, Rockstar set a target of 80 million zombies, but in just 5 days, the community has already wiped out 430 million undead in the popular GTA V online mode.

While GTA Online remains a top game, it doesn’t always go viral despite its impressive user base and playtime. However, the "Ludendorff Cemetery Survival" event has been an immediate success, drawing millions of players to GTA V's online component.

Speaking of GTA Online, the PC and Steam Deck communities recently lashed out at Valve when an anti-cheat software rendered the online mode incompatible, causing it to stop working unexpectedly. Although GTA Online and GTA V are not officially supported on Valve’s device, it was possible to play both modes smoothly with a few minor issues. Now, it’s no longer possible, and Rockstar has advised users to direct their complaints and questions to Steam's support team.

On another note, anticipation for GTA VI remains sky-high, and fans believe they have discovered the release date for what could be the most anticipated game of all time.
