For a while now, the protagonists in Call of Duty haven’t been the soldiers from its storyline, but rather the multiplayer characters, especially those from various collaborations. Black Ops 6 is just around the corner, and some celebrities are keen on being part of the franchise's new release, such as LeBron James and his son, Bronny James.

LeBron James and Bronny James, the NBA sensation duo, may arrive in Call of Duty

Just days before the release of Call of Duty: Black Ops 6, Los Angeles Lakers star LeBron James sent a message to the developers of the FPS, mentioning that his son, Bronny James, wants his own skin in the game. The official Call of Duty account quickly responded to the NBA King, acknowledging that they know his son is a "sharpshooter" and would love to make history, not only with the young player but also with the duo that is set to create a milestone for the basketball league.

This season marks the first in NBA history where father and son will share the court in the same game. LeBron James agreed to stay with the Lakers for a few more years in exchange for the Los Angeles team drafting his son, Bronny James.

The big question is how far LeBron and Bronny can go with the Lakers this season. It’s no surprise that this major sports event in North America has generated interest, and perhaps Call of Duty: Black Ops 6 will surprise us with skins for both players in the new era of its multiplayer and Battle Royale, Call of Duty: Warzone.

In related news, Microsoft has revealed that Call of Duty: Black Ops 6, Call of Duty: Modern Warfare III, and Call of Duty: Warzone will soon be available through Xbox Cloud, a cloud gaming service for all Ultimate-level subscribers.
