Xbox will release 3 titles from the franchise on Xbox Cloud Gaming

The release of Call of Duty: Black Ops 6 is just around the corner, and many fans are still wondering if the new Activision game will be playable on Xbox Cloud. There’s good news for all of them, as the company has just confirmed that 3 titles from the franchise will be coming to Xbox Cloud Gaming via Xbox Game Pass.

Thanks to this, acclaimed Call of Duty games will be available across a wide range of devices. This means that having a console or a powerful PC won’t be necessary to play Call of Duty: Black Ops 6 and other titles with a subscription.

Through Xbox Wire, Ashley McKissick, corporate vice president of gaming experiences and platforms, announced that Call of Duty: Black Ops 6, Warzone, and Modern Warfare III will be added to the cloud-compatible games catalog this month. This means they will be available via Xbox Cloud Gaming, a service included with a subscription to Xbox Game Pass Ultimate.

Thanks to this, Activision titles can be enjoyed on consoles, PCs, mobile devices, Samsung TVs compatible with the Xbox Game Pass app, Amazon Fire TV, and Meta Quest. Xbox is fulfilling its promise of bringing Activision Blizzard games to as many devices as possible. With this option, players won’t have to install the games, saving space on their consoles or PCs.

Call of Duty: Black Ops 6, Warzone, and Modern Warfare III will be compatible with Xbox Cloud Gaming starting on October 25, at 11:00 AM Mexico City time. Xbox has not yet confirmed whether more games from the saga will come to their services.

“This is a first for the Call of Duty franchise, and a win for the community. Players will be able to access multiple Call of Duty games with Xbox Cloud Gaming for the first time, and Game Pass Ultimate members will be able to enjoy Call of Duty in more places than ever before,” Xbox stated.
