Mark Zuckerberg has played this game for over 1000 hours on Steam; the owner of Meta and Facebook believes that no one can beat him in a match

Mark Zuckerberg, owner of Meta and Facebook, is a very busy man, but he always finds a bit of free time to enjoy video games. In a recent interview, the entrepreneur revealed one of his favorite genres and admitted that he has played a popular title for over 1000 hours.

What caught the attention of players is that Mark Zuckerberg is very confident in the skills he has acquired in the saga. To the point that he stated that, possibly, no one can beat him in a match. He even said that he might do a Twitch stream to showcase his talent in Civilization VI.

Mark Zuckerberg thinks no one can beat him in Civilization

During a chat with the TikToker Pubity (via Wccftech), Zuckerberg revealed his great passion for strategy games. Specifically, the Meta executive enjoys 4X titles, which are based on exploration, expansion, resource exploitation, and extermination mechanics, hence their peculiar name.

One of the most iconic franchises of the genre is Civilization, an immensely popular series that recently confirmed a new installment. Zuckerberg confirmed that he is passionate about the saga created by developer Sid Meier, who is considered one of the great legends of the industry.

He stated that he considers himself almost a Grandmaster of the franchise, so he is convinced that no one could beat him in a match. To prove it, he expressed his willingness to do a Twitch stream to show off his skills and hopefully find a challenger.

“Priscilla [his wife] looked at my Steam account the other day and she was like, what? You've played this for more than a thousand hours? In terms of strategy games, the one that I'm more likely to want to be the best in the world at is Civilization. I think at some point, I should do a Twitch stream of me playing with someone because I'm pretty convinced that I'm close to Grandmaster status. I'd be surprised if anyone in the world can beat me at that,” Zuckerberg confidently stated.

While we're talking about the franchise, it's worth noting that Sid Meier's Civilization VII is real and will debut early next year. It will be available on all current consoles and PC on February 11th. Surely, Zuckerberg will join its community to try to become one of the best players in the world.
