The Silent Hill Remake included a spoiler that Konami had to patch urgently

The scene in question occurs within the first hour of the game, when James encounters a radio, and a woman’s voice is heard overwhelmed by static due to the poor signal quality.

In the radio message, what the woman is trying to say is unintelligible, and in the subtitles in various languages, letters are separated by dots, making the message hard to understand: "..........id you k........." (as seen in English).

However, this was different when playing with subtitles in Italian, where the message was not hard to understand but clearly showed ".....chè mi hai ucc....", a huge spoiler about the game’s plot, as reported by users on Reddit.

This spoiler only affected players using the 1.001 version of the remake in Italian, as Konami soon released an update, version 1.003.000, to fix this error.

It’s important to note that all digital copies should not have this issue, but physical copies do, as they don’t include the Konami updates. That said, if you plan to play the game in Italian and on a physical medium, it’s recommended to insert the disc and connect your PlayStation 5 to the Internet to update the game to the latest version free of this error.
