Initially, the anime was confirmed for Crunchyroll, the popular anime service from Sony. Later, HBO revealed that Dragon Ball Daima will also be broadcast through Max. The series will arrive on these services in October, to coincide with its premiere in Japan.
The good news is that there will be another option to catch Goku's new adventure. Netflix revealed that it will be another platform offering the anime to its users. Best of all, the company has already confirmed a date for Dragon Ball Daima's addition to its catalog.
When will Dragon Ball Daima debut on Netflix?
In case you don’t remember, Dragon Ball Daima will premiere on Japanese television on October 11. Starting that day, it will also be available on Crunchyroll in most of the world, including America. While there is no exact date yet, we know it will arrive on Max the same month.
Netflix users will need to be patient and wait a few more days after the premiere to enjoy the anime with their subscription. The company confirmed that Dragon Ball Daima will first arrive in its catalog in Asia on October 14.
Fortunately, the global release will only take a few more days. Akira Toriyama's series will be available to all Netflix users on October 18. It's important to mention that the company stated the date could vary depending on the country. For now, these are all the streaming services that will offer the series in its debut month.
It’s worth noting that the first episode of the anime will be special, as it will last 40 minutes. In Dragon Ball Daima, Goku and his friends will return to being children and begin a new adventure to return to their adult forms.
Along the way, they will encounter new characters designed by Toriyama, including Glorio, Panzy, Prince Gomah, and others. The anime and Dragon Ball: Sparking! ZERO are the two major projects to celebrate the 40th anniversary of the franchise.
