The companies celebrated a recent launch with an attractive giveaway

Xbox and Bethesda are celebrating, as they recently launched Shattered Space, the first major expansion for Starfield. To mark the occasion, they decided to treat Xbox Series X|S players with a fantastic gift related to the DLC, which adds a terrifying twist to the space RPG.

In case you didn’t know, the new content debuted on September 30th on Microsoft consoles and PC. It tells the story of gravitational engine experiments gone wrong, causing a rift to open in interdimensional space. So far, the expansion has received mixed reviews.

For the past few days, Xbox has been offering a fantastic dynamic background for Shattered Space on Xbox Series X|S. Below, we’ll explain how to get it and give your console a unique touch.

How to get the Starfield: Shattered Space dynamic background for free

Many players have fallen in love with the theme and aesthetics of Starfield: Shattered Space. Xbox took advantage of this by surprising them with a striking dynamic background featuring one of the main artworks from the expansion.

To get it, simply go to the settings menu on your Xbox Series X or Series S. Once there, go to the Personalization option, then My Background. You’ll find all the dynamic backgrounds released by Xbox, including the one for Starfield: Shattered Space. You can see a video of it below:

According to several reports, this expansion won’t be the last for the RPG. Some time ago, Bethesda registered the trademark “Starborn,” a term used in the game and related to a surprise at its ending.

While nothing has been confirmed yet, the community believes it’s only a matter of time before the company announces more additional content for its space title. On another note, there are rumors about the game possibly coming to PS5, but those are just speculations for now.
