There is bad news for Fortnite players in several regions, as Epic Games confirmed that V-Bucks and content packs for their Battle Royale will undergo price adjustments. Due to this, players in various countries will have to pay more starting in October.
In a statement, the studio announced adjustments in the costs of various coin bundles and cosmetic content packs. The changes were announced only for 6 countries, including several in America, Asia, and Africa.
Fortnite V-Bucks will cost more in these countries starting in October
Epic Games explained that Fortnite prices will be adjusted due to various economic factors, inflation, and currency fluctuations. They also mentioned that they plan to make more changes regularly to align with the global economy.
A few months ago, there were similar changes that harmed some players and benefited others in various countries. This time, players in Brazil, Chile, Colombia, Nigeria, Vietnam, and the Philippines will be affected and will have to spend a little more to get V-Bucks and content.
The studio confirmed that the changes will take effect starting on October 14. There will be increases in the 1000, 2800, 5000, and 13,500 V-Bucks bundles. Likewise, there will be adjustments in the prices of the Operation Brite Starter Pack, Sun & Scales Pack and Scrap & Burn Pack.
However, not all is bad news, as the price of Fortnite Crew will remain unchanged for now. Lastly, Epic Games explained that the price adjustments will apply to content packs that return to the store in the future. Below, you can see the price adjustments by country:
