It's one of Xbox's most successful exclusives and could soon come to PS5; port would be revealed at Tokyo Game Show 2024

Throughout this year, Xbox users have received some very attractive exclusive games. Some of them have been very well received on the Series X|S and have become massive hits with thousands of players. One of them is Palworld, a title by Pocketpair that debuted in early 2024 for Xbox Series X|S and PC. For months, there has been speculation about the arrival of the so-called Pokémon with guns on PlayStation.

In fact, its developers hinted that a PlayStation 5 port was possible in the future. Everything indicates that this project will soon become a reality, as a clue suggests that the PS5 version of Palworld will be revealed very soon at the Tokyo Game Show 2024.

Is Palworld coming soon to PlayStation 5?

Overnight, Palworld became a phenomenon thanks to its action and adventure proposal combined with elements from popular franchises like Pokémon. It was a resounding success on Microsoft's consoles and on PC, where it reached over 25 million players.

Pocketpair has worked on new content and attractive additions since its launch; however, the title has slowly lost a portion of its community. Despite this, it remains quite popular, and players on other consoles are eager to get their hands on it.

Thanks to Gematsu, a list from the Computer Entertainment Supplier’s Association (CESA) surfaced, revealing the supposed games that will be present at the Tokyo Game Show 2024, an event set to take place from September 26 to 29 at the Makuhari Messe Convention Center in Japan.

What's interesting is that the list mentions a version of Palworld for PlayStation 5, a port that has not been announced or confirmed by Pocketpair. Due to this, it's speculated that the PlayStation version of the game could be announced during the event at the end of the month.

That said, it’s also important to note that the list doesn't necessarily imply that Palworld will come to more platforms in the near future. However, there are several signs that the game will eventually stop being an Xbox exclusive.
