Bethesda announced exciting new features for Starfield during gamescom 2024. One of them was the release of the REV-8, an all-terrain vehicle that players are already using to explore the various planets in the popular title for Xbox Series X|S and PC.
This addition immediately caught the attention of modders, who have already made several projects to transform the REV-8 into vehicles from other popular sci-fi franchises. As expected, Halo and Star Wars were some of the first sagas chosen. Thanks to this, the Warthog and other iconic land vehicles have arrived in Starfield through some fantastic mods.
Starfield receives land vehicles from Halo and Star Wars thanks to mods
Land vehicles were one of the most requested features by players since the launch of Starfield. After a long wait, they are finally a reality thanks to the REV-8, which significantly expands players’ mobility and exploration capabilities in the space title.
As with every Bethesda game, Starfield has a passionate modding community that has already replaced the REV-8’s model to turn it into the iconic Warthog from Halo. Master Chief’s vehicle can now be used in the space title, bringing a dream crossover between Xbox sagas to life.
The modder NotSiouxsie, who created the project, chose the Warthog variant designed for exploration rather than combat, so it lacks a machine gun on the rear. The mod can now be downloaded from sites like Nexus Mods.
Modders also prepared a surprise for Star Wars fans by transforming the REV-8 into the iconic X-34 Landspeeder. The modder radiclown adapted the REV-8’s laser to match the Landspeeder’s, and the result is amazing. Players have used it with other Star Wars mods to fully recreate the universe of that saga. Both vehicles look incredible, as you can see in the images below:
