In a report, he stated that the console should be available on the market in the first half of the year. Although it may not arrive between January and March, he speculates that the system could debut between April and June. However, he did not provide a more exact release window.
His information aligns with that of other sources, who also claim that the console will arrive sometime in the second quarter of 2025. This is an important season for the industry, so the report makes sense.
As for the price, Yasuda bets that the Switch 2 will debut in stores at a cost below $499 USD. This means that it would be cheaper than the original PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X with disc drive, which would undoubtedly be very appealing to players.
