A few days ago, Microsoft revealed that 4 attractive games will no longer be available on Xbox Game Pass in mid-August. Subscribers should know that there is another title whose days in the service are numbered and that will also disappear this month. Electronic Arts recently confirmed this.
While this is bad news for players, the reality is that Xbox Game Pass users are not too worried. This is because it is an older title from the studio, and Microsoft’s service currently offers more appealing and updated alternatives.
FIFA 23 will soon disappear from Xbox Game Pass
Electronic Arts is one of the studios that has most supported Xbox Game Pass over the years. The inclusion of EA Play in Microsoft’s service allows players to enjoy prominent titles as long as they have an Ultimate subscription.
The studio has brought its most important franchises to the service, including FIFA. Although the franchise has undergone significant changes in recent months and the company is now focused on EA Sports FC, FIFA 23 is still available on EA Play and Xbox Game Pass.
However, this will change very soon, as the game will be leaving both services. Subscribers have until September 16th to enjoy it. It’s almost certain that few players will miss the title, as EA Sports FC 24 is currently available on both services.
On the other hand, EA offers installments of its other acclaimed sports series through a subscription. Thus, it is likely that the disappearance of FIFA 23 from Xbox Game Pass will concern few players and soccer enthusiasts.
This installment was distinguished by its improved realism and the use of HyperMotion2 technology, which employs advanced motion capture data to provide a smoother and more authentic experience. Additionally, it included the expansion of women’s clubs, with the UEFA Women’s Champions League being part of the saga for the first time in FIFA 23.
