Through a statement, a popular PlayStation studio offered apologies to players, as a strange and curious bug broke their game. We are referring to Polyphony Digital, which is already working to fix a hilarious bug in Gran Turismo 7.

For some reason, the game currently has a bug that makes cars shoot up into the sky and fly. Evidently, this completely breaks the immersion and gameplay experience. For this reason, the studio apologized to the game's community and is already seeking a solution.

This week, Polyphony Digital released a new update for Gran Turismo 7. Unfortunately, the update came with an error that has caught the attention of many players, as it makes the game's vehicles able to fly.

The game's community spoke about the issue on social media and shared various videos showing it in action. In them, cars are seen rising from the racetracks and flying into the sky for no reason.

While the bug is extremely curious and even funny, Gran Turismo 7 players want a solution so they can continue playing normally. The issue is also present in VR mode and some special scenes of the game.

Polyphony Digital is already aware of this curious bug that came with update 1.49. Therefore, it's only a matter of time before a solution is deployed through another update, which currently has no release date.

"We are aware of the following issue. Unintended vehicle behavior occurs when using a particular car setup in Vehicle Settings. This issue is currently under investigation. We apologize for any inconvenience this may cause," the studio wrote. Below, you can see videos of the bug:
