Concord, the new game from Firewalk Studios and PlayStation, has divided player opinions with its Beta. A part of the community has been very critical of the project, as they are not convinced that its proposal can stand out and remain active for a long time.
Of course, there are also some players who are still interested in the project and are looking forward to its release. For them, Sony has prepared a surprise: a special edition DualSense featuring a design inspired by the universe of Concord.
There will be a Concord DualSense, when will it debut and how much will it cost?
Through its online store, Sony revealed the special edition DualSense of Concord. The black controller features a unique design in blue and red, giving it a very attractive look that is, of course, inspired by the art direction of Firewalk Studios' game.
The company explained that the controller includes elements based on the Galactic Guide of the title. The bright colors attempt to capture some of the essence of Concord's sci-fi world. On the back, it boasts the game’s logo.
According to the site, the controller will be sold for $84.55 USD. Its release is scheduled for August 23, the same day the game will debut on PlayStation 5 and PC. The box only includes the controller without a cable.
For now, it is unclear if this controller will be distributed worldwide in retail stores or sold exclusively through the PlayStation online store. Below you can see some images of the controller:
The various tests of Concord reflect that there is little interest in the new PlayStation exclusive. Fans expressed doubts since the project's reveal and claimed that, being a game as a service, it is likely to have a short lifespan.
