Kaiju No. 8 is one of the new sensations among fans of anime. The Season 1 of the series positioned itself as a favorite of the season; however, it has just concluded after 12 exciting episodes.

In light of this, its followers wonder what will happen with Naoya Matsumoto's franchise in the realm of animation. Fortunately, there is very good news, as it has just been confirmed that the anime will have a sequel and we already have the first details of the production.

The Season 1 of Kaiju No. 8 debuted in Japan on April 13. Anime lovers in our region were able to enjoy the beginnings of this production thanks to Crunchyroll. Its fans were very satisfied with the work of Shigeyuki Miya, who directed the anime.

Now, they will have to be patient and wait to learn more about the adventures of Kafka Hibino, Reno Ichikawa, Kikoru Shinomiya, and other characters. As soon as Chapter 12 ended, a sequel to the animated production was confirmed.

Unfortunately, it doesn't have a release window for now, so we don't know how long it will take to arrive. However, fans will be able to enjoy future episodes on Crunchyroll as well. The anime platform assured that the debut will be soon but didn't give more clues about it.

Fans were fascinated with Season 1, so they are very excited about the revelation of the sequel. It is expected that Production IG and Studio Khara will remain in the project as producers and kaiju designers, respectively.
