One of the points most criticized by the community is that several proposals do not pass all the filters and are released censored due to their extreme violence. Now, a case has just come to light of a game that was a victim of this situation and will have to reduce some blood effects and corpses in its Japanese version. The most curious thing of all is what the developers will do in response.

The game in question is Gori: Cuddly Carnage, a title that will be released next August and will be censored for different visual aspects that did not pass the filters in Asian territory.

According to the information shared, the large amount of blood that appears in the title will change its color from red to purple, and the enormous number of corpses that players would encounter will be reduced.

However, the developers at the indie studio Angry Demon Studio made a rather curious decision in response to the censorship of their game: they will donate blood to NHS Blood and Transplant, an organization responsible for such services, since they couldn't include it in their title.

What is Gori: Cuddly Carnage about?

It is worth mentioning that this proposal introduces you to Gori, his lethal hoverboard Frank, and his grumpy robot companion CH1-P, who must master explosive weaponry and devastating combos to prevent the "Adorable Army" from conquering the galaxy and rescue Professor Y, the creator of the protagonist.

The game promises twisted landscapes full of dangers, adult humor, and an exciting soundtrack that will get players' pulses racing. You can watch the game's trailer at this link.

Gori: Cuddly Carnage will be released next August 29 on consoles and PC.
