Fortnite has become a paradise for crossovers, welcoming a multitude of characters from movies, series, anime, and, of course, video games. However, many intellectual properties are still absent. It’s clear that more collaborations are on the way, and a new hint has excited fans of some beloved franchises.
For those who don’t know, Epic Games often sends out surveys to a segment of the community to gauge interest in various franchises, celebrities, and entertainment personalities. This is a clever way to plan future collaborations and focus efforts on content that players truly want to see in the game.
Of course, just because a character or IP appears in the survey doesn’t guarantee they will eventually make it into the free-to-play game; however, it does mean that the development team is considering the possibility. Thus, fans eagerly await collaborations with these popular franchises.

Fortnite Survey Mentions Characters from FNAF, One Piece, GTA, and SpongeBob SquarePants
Undoubtedly, the animatronics from Five Nights at Freddy’s are recurrent in Epic Games surveys. In December 2023, fans were asked if they wanted to see Chica in Fortnite, and in May 2024, Freddy Fazbear, the franchise’s most iconic character, was mentioned.
But despite their constant presence in surveys, the crossover with the FNAF franchise has yet to happen; however, the latest survey has excited the community once again. Developers asked fans if they want to see Vanessa, the security guard from Freddy Fazbear's Mega Pizzaplex.
Although the collaboration is not yet confirmed, its mention in the survey aligns with recent rumors suggesting that Fortnite will receive content inspired by Scott Cawthon’s franchise for its 10th anniversary.
The list, shared by user SamLeaks on his X account, also mentions Michael, one of the protagonists of the popular Grand Theft Auto V. Since this isn’t the first time Rockstar Games’ franchise has been referenced in an Epic Games survey, fans are excited and believe a crossover is only a matter of time.
Equally interesting, the studio behind Epic Games asked the community if they are interested in a crossover with One Piece, the famous anime by Toei Animation based on the manga by Eiichiro Oda. In fact, a leak earlier this year revealed that characters from this Japanese franchise could come to the Battle Royale.
And, of course, the survey also mentions extravagant and unexpected characters: from SpongeBob SquarePants from the eponymous cartoon to Daisy from Super Mario Bros. In any case, we recommend taking this information with a grain of salt and waiting for the developers to reveal more details about future collaborations.
