The Season 2 of The Last of Us is currently filming and set to premiere in 2025. Just like with the first episodes, leaks have been inevitable, and new images give us a glimpse of what's new in the adaptation by Naughty Dog and HBO.

Photos shared on social media show Pedro Pascal and Bella Ramsey on the set. According to the details, they are in a forest located in Vancouver, Canada. It seems they are filming one of the flashbacks from The Last of Us: Part II.

The X account The Last of Us News has shared photos showing various sets from the filming of Season 2 of the live-action series. Recently, it revealed four new photos featuring Pedro Pascal and Bella Ramsey in action.

HBO and its production team visited Mount Seymour to film a few scenes where Ellie and Joel are seen riding horses. The natural set is filled with fog, creating a very special atmosphere in the expansive forest.

While nothing is confirmed, fans are excited as they speculate that this could be a flashback from the sequel, where Tommy teaches Ellie to shoot and she subsequently has an adventure in a forest.

Other players believe it could be the scene where Ellie and Dina ride together through a forest after one of the game's most significant events. We know that Season 2 will debut in early 2025 with 7 episodes.

Craig Mazin, co-director of the series, confirmed that adapting the story of The Last of Us: Part II will take several seasons. Because of this, the series could ultimately have four seasons. Below you can see the new images from the set:
