While it is a free service, it offers a premium version that provides additional benefits. Luckily, obtaining a membership is easier than ever.
If you are a Discord Nitro subscriber, you can upload files up to 500 MB and use custom emojis on all servers. You can also stream HD video, use unlimited super reactions, and access more options to customize your profile.
To take advantage of these exclusive benefits, you need to subscribe to the app's premium service. The monthly plan costs $159.00 MXN. Fortunately, Discord has just launched a new initiative that will allow you to gift subscriptions to 3 friends if you are already a member. And of course, someone else could also gift it to you.

You can gift a 2-week Discord Nitro subscription to 3 friends
Through a post on their official website, Discord revealed new benefits offered by Discord Nitro to all its members. The most interesting is the Nitro Pass, which allows you to gift temporary subscriptions to your group of friends.
If you are an active Discord Nitro member, you will receive passes that you can share with up to 3 friends at any time. Those who receive the gift and claim it will have access to all the service's benefits for 2 weeks. Although it is shorter than a monthly subscription, it is enough for the recipients to try what the premium version of the service has to offer.
The company revealed that the passes will replenish over time, so eventually, you can gift more trial versions of Discord Nitro to other friends; however, the frequency of the replenishments is unknown.
To take advantage of the Nitro Pass, you must be a monthly or annual Discord Nitro subscriber; Nitro Classic and Nitro Basic members are not eligible, nor are those on another trial plan. Note that you can only gift a membership to qualified individuals.
For example, those who had a Discord Nitro subscription in the last 30 days or took advantage of another trial offer cannot receive the gift. The same applies to you if a friend wants to gift you a membership through the Nitro Pass.
If you received a gift subscription, you can claim it by clicking the Start Trial option. Next, you will need to select a plan and enter your billing information. Discord emphasizes that you will not be charged before or during the 2-week trial, so make sure to cancel your membership after the free period ends.
Finally, to gift a Discord Nitro subscription to someone, simply click the Direct Messages button in the top left corner and then choose Nitro. There, look for the Share Nitro option and finally select your trusted friend.
