The Summer Game Fest 2024 featured very interesting announcements that even surprised some of the industry's most prominent creatives. Hideo Kojima, the renowned Japanese developer, stated that a particular title caught his attention and that he is very eager to play it. Through his social media channels, the head of Kojima Productions revealed that he is very excited about Black Myth: Wukong, a title that has been acclaimed by many since its unveiling.

Black Myth: Wukong has captured everyone's attention since its unveiling due to its incredible visual appearance, highly dynamic combat, and its world inspired by ancient Chinese culture. Like many gamers, Hideo Kojima is already eager to get his hands on the title by Game Science.
"This title has been on my mind since I saw the first trailer about three years ago. Black Myth: Wukong. Its original look, design, coloring, effects, and presentation have an outstanding sense of style that sets it apart from other games," said Kojima.
The creative also took the opportunity to highlight Game Science's work and stated that he has been keeping an eye on the studio for a while. Furthermore, he revealed that the game's theme is very appealing to him, so he won't miss it.
"I've also been eagerly following Game Science, the development team. Finally, its release has been confirmed. The theme of Monkey King (Sun Wukong) is also familiar for my generation. I'm looking forward to it. Black Myth: Wukong will be released on August 20, 2024," added the developer.
It's worth mentioning that the title will debut for PlayStation 5 and PC on the mentioned date. Its release for Xbox Series X|S has suffered an indefinite delay, so it's still uncertain when it will be ready for Microsoft's consoles.
