The Fallout series was a resounding success, so Amazon and Bethesda are already working on Season 2. While there's little information about what the new episodes will offer, Todd Howard has already shared the first details of the future of the production, and of course, fans are excited.

The celebrated creative made it clear that they will continue with the formula that made the first season so well-received by fans of the franchise and new audiences alike. This means they will stick to the essence of the saga but will focus on new characters and stories while still offering great nods to the existing universe.

The live-action Fallout series has nods to various games in the franchise and does not necessarily focus on recreating one of them. Thanks to this, fans were more than satisfied with all the references and fan service that Season 1 of the Amazon production offers.

Todd Howard made it clear that the goal is to continue in this way and to surprise viewers again with Season 2. From his perspective, the series characters are great, so they will delve even deeper into their stories without relying on the narrative of the titles.

"I think it’s really awesome how these characters have resonated with the audience. And so I think there’s still stories to tell there. There’s so many great characters — I love Norm and Chet, I love the two of them in every scene. And obviously we have the Ghoul and Lucy and Maximus," said Bethesda's creative.

He also highlighted that Jonathan Nolan and Lisa Joy, in charge of the production, have many ideas they want to explore in the new episodes. With that said, Howard pledged to further expand the universe of the franchise through the popular production available on Prime Video.

According to reports, over 65 million people have enjoyed it, making it one of the platform's most successful series. Additionally, we know that the production boosted the number of players in various titles of the saga.
