The Season 2 of The Last of Us continues in production and fan hype continues to build. This morning the first official images of the new episodes were released. Unsurprisingly, the pictures show Joel and Ellie, protagonists played by Pedro Pascal and Bella Ramsey.
Of course, the images excited the franchise's hardcore fans, who were thrilled with the previews. However, the photos also divided the opinion of part of the community, especially for the appearance that Ellie will have in the Season 2 episodes.

Images from the HBO series show Joel and Ellie in various locations in Jackson, the settlement where iconic scenes from The Last of Us: Part II will take place. Fans are more than happy with Joel's appearance, as they think Pedro Pascal looks great in the role.
However, there are people who were worried and disappointed about what's in store for the popular character. Some say they are not yet ready to see the new episodes of the series.
On the other hand, the second image shows Ellie ready for action. As it happened recently with leaked photos, the community was dissatisfied with Ellie's appearance, as they believe that the character does not look the age she should be.
For that reason, some people believe it would have been better to leave Bella Ramsey out of Season 2 and look for another actress for the important role. Of course, there are also fans who are happy to see the young and talented actress return to the production.
“Ellie not being aged up is gonna feel weird at first but i'm sure i'll get used to it,” one person stated on social media. We won't tell you more and leave you with the images below:
Season 2 of the series will feature new faces. We will see Kaitlyn Dever as Abby, Isabela Merced as Dina, Young Mazino as Jesse, Ariela Barer as Mel, Tati Gabrielle as Nora, Spencer Lord as Owen and Danny Ramirez as Manny.
