Five Nights at Freddy's 2: a rumor about the movie has fans worried, but it would be false

Five Nights at Freddy's 2 has not yet confirmed any of its new animatronics; however, it is almost a fact that we will see again Freddy Fazbear, Bonnie, Chica and Foxy, iconic characters of the saga that were the stars of the first movie.

In case you don't remember, a reliable source recently claimed that Withered variants of said animatronics will be some of the characters in the new movie. So we would see them with their mechanical bodies worn out and mangled.

Some fans were alarmed by the news, believing that the production team will destroy the current animatronics to create the Withered variants. Another source spoke on the subject to reassure fans of the franchise who fear for Freddy Fazbear and company.

Will Blumhouse destroy the original animatronics for FNAF 2?

Blumhouse Productions bet big on the first film in the franchise, so it decided to create replicas of Freddy Fazbear, Bonnie, Chica and Foxy. To do so, it formed an alliance with Jim Henson's Creature Shop, a special effects company that built incredible life-size versions of the animatronics.

Fans were delighted with the recreation of the iconic characters, believing they look great and are already part of the franchise's history. For that reason, they are not at all pleased with the idea of the production team destroying them to create their respective Withered versions.

The informant known as entom reassured the community that this will not happen. He pointed out that the animatronic replicas will not be destroyed for the new movie of the franchise.

Unfortunately, he did not disclose further details. The community speculates that Jim Henson's Creature Shop will create new withered models of the characters. Another part of the community believes that the Withered versions may not appear in the film.

The reality is that for now nothing is confirmed. Blumhouse already gave us the first glimpse of Jim Henson's Creature Shop work for the sequel. Because of this, fans believe that Mangrove and Toy Bonnie will be some of the new animatronics we will see in the film.
