Many One Piece fans feel that Netflix did the franchise justice with its live-action series. However, the community also believes that the company can improve various aspects of the production for Season 2.

In fact, fans of the pirate franchise have already made a request to Netflix, as they believe it should urgently improve one aspect of Nami and other characters: their hair. Fans hope the company listens to their comments and does not make the same mistake in the new episodes.

Fans of the franchise are pleased with what Season 1 of One Piece offered; however, there is one recurring complaint: the way various wigs look in the live-action series. Part of the community believes that they look very bad and detract from the appeal of the characters.

Specifically, there are complaints about the appearance of the hair of Nami, Nojiko, Kuina and other characters. Fans think that Netflix used low-budget wigs, otherwise they don't understand how bad they look.

Various people fear that the situation will be repeated in Season 2 episodes and more characters will be ruined by this detail. For this reason, fans asked Netflix to improve the characterization of the main characters.

"I love the live action and everything about it, but with season 2, they need to get rid of those trash wigs. Nojiko, Nami and Kuina are great examples of this. There wigs look so cheap and it looks like they got them from Party City. Please don´t f*** up Vivi!" stated an anguished fan.

“After seeing a lot of footage from Netflix's Avatar and after watching the One Piece live-action series, it definitely feels like Netflix's wig budget is going to Stranger Things and Bridgerton,” another person stated.

Netflix hasn't shared many details about Season 2 of the pirate series. We do know that the new episodes will introduce Tony Tony Chopper; however, it is not known if there will be improvements in terms of Straw Hats characterization.
