Dragon Ball: Sparking! Zero is one of the most anticipated video games for fans of Akira Toriyama's work. Although its release date is still a mystery, its creators are gradually revealing new details. In this way, we now know the identity of more fighters.
The fighting game will have a total of 164 fighters at launch. So far, the presence of characters from Dragon Ball Z and Dragon Ball Super has been confirmed, although it remains to be seen if fighters from other sagas of the franchise will also join the fray.
While Goku and Vegeta occupy a large portion of the main roster slots, other classic characters will also battle in this new title. Recently, Bandai Namco and the studio Spike Chunsoft revealed the identity of more characters. And yes, the return of some of the most beloved fighters by fans has been confirmed.
Future Gohan, Beerus, Videl, and More Characters to Appear in Dragon Ball: Sparking! ZERO
This week, new screenshots from the upcoming issue of the famous V-Jump magazine came to light. There, the return of 10 new characters who will be part of the initial roster of Dragon Ball: Sparking! Zero was confirmed.
One of the most interesting fighters is Future Gohan, whom we first saw in a Dragon Ball Z OVA. Judging by the images, he will fight in his base state and with his Super Saiyan transformation, so he will occupy 2 slots in the roster. Fans will be pleased to know that the developers respected the fact that in the animated series he loses an arm in the battle against the androids.
In addition to his more tragic future version, Gohan will also be in the game as we saw him at the beginning of the Majin Buu arc. Although it is not observed in the screenshots, it is likely that he can transform into Super Saiyan, as happens in the anime. The return of Videl, Mr. Satan's daughter and Gohan's future wife, has also been confirmed.
Good news for Dragon Ball Super fans, as V-Jump magazine confirms that Beerus and Whis, who currently train Goku, Vegeta, and Broly, will also fight in the fighting game. Apparently, a new preview with a "masters and apprentices" theme will be shared soon.
The upcoming issue of the Japanese magazine reaffirms the return of Kid Gohan, Piccolo, Master Roshi, and Yamcha. These are the new confirmed characters for Dragon Ball: Sparking! Zero:
