Crunchyroll is the most popular platform for watching anime. Despite this, it lacks some useful features that other streaming services have since its launch. Fortunately, this will change soon, as Sony announced that it will incorporate some very interesting new features that users of its service have been waiting for years.

The platform wants to pamper its Premium subscribers who share their account and use it on multiple devices. To do so, it will finally offer them a simple way to manage their content: profiles with personalized avatars.

Currently, Crunchyroll does not have user profiles, which greatly complicates the use of the same account by multiple people on multiple devices. This is because it is not possible to separate the content that each user consumes on the platform in a simple and clear way.

The good news is that multiple profiles are finally on their way to the anime platform. For now there is no exact date for their arrival, but it was confirmed that they will be ready by the end of this month. So subscribers just have to wait a few more weeks to enjoy the novelty.

Thanks to this, Premium users will be able to create up to 5 profiles in a single home. In this way, different users will be able to have their content list separately and access it simultaneously and without any complications.

The profiles will come with avatars of popular anime characters from more than 30 series. In addition, Premium users will have additional access to parental controls, better personalized recommendations and more. All at no additional cost.
