David Hayter returns to Metal Gear to discuss the epicness of the series

Metal Gear is one of the most iconic franchises in the world of video games, but also one of the most confusing. Konami brought back the actor who portrayed Snake to help you understand it and encourage you to play it.

As anticipated, Konami teamed up with David Hayter to work on a new project related to Metal Gear, specifically a series of videos about the saga called Metal Gear Solid Legacy Series.

In the first video, Hayter provides an introduction for all fans or those who have never tried a game from the franchise, for which the Metal Gear Solid: Master Collection Vol.1 exists. Additionally, the actor gives an overview of the history of this series and key elements that made it great. Interestingly, all of this is done without mentioning Hideo Kojima, the creator of the franchise, who apparently did not part on good terms with either Konami or Hayter.

David Hayter returns to Metal Gear

This marks the first occasion in many years that the actor returns to work with Konami. You can see it below.

The last Metal Gear project in which Hayter participated was Metal Gear Solid: Peace Walker, before he was replaced by Kiefer Sutherland to portray Snake. However, the actor collaborated with Konami to bring to life Solid Snake Bomber and Naked Snake Bomber, based on Solid Snake and Naked Snake, for Super Bomberman R (2018).

Something very interesting is that Hayter commented that this "epic collection is only the beginning" and "it will get better," as he anticipated he will return to discuss the "epic and highly anticipated remake" of Metal Gear Solid 3: Snake Eater.
