YouTube channel Moore's Law is Dead, which specializes in technology, posted another video about the technical specs and technology that will power the PlayStation 5 Pro. According to the details, it will feature a better GPU with faster memory.
This will allow the new console to offer 45% faster rendering than the current PlayStation 5. It will also feature a better ray tracing architecture. It is said that the new hardware will triple or quadruple the base model in this section.
Details were also revealed about PlayStation Spectral Super Resolution (PSSR), technology powered by artificial intelligence and machine learning. It would be similar to Nvidia's DLSS and AMD's FSR, with full HDR support.
It would be used to scale games and make them look better without sacrificing system resources. It will reportedly have 4K support initially, but support for up to 8K resolution will be enabled later.
