Street Fighter 6 is about to welcome one of its deadliest fighters, and soon its roster will expand with this powerful character. Capcom fueled players' excitement with an announcement, a corresponding trailer, and the release window.
Akuma is ready for his debut in Street Fighter 6
One of the fighters who made history in Capcom's fighting franchise is about to arrive. It's Akuma, a fighter who debuted in Super Street Fighter II Turbo as a secret character and has continued to have a presence in most IP installments since then. The Japanese company made the announcement and shared the presentation trailer for this version of Akuma in Street Fighter 6, which shows him with the clear passage of time but no decrease in his power.
Additionally, a first look is given at what would be his stage in Street Fighter 6, the space where he trains and interacts with demons.

When will Akuma arrive in Street Fighter 6?
According to the official information, Akuma will arrive in Street Fighter 6 in the spring, meaning at some point between March 21 and June 21, although it is expected not to take that long since the hype is through the roof, knowing he is a high-powered fighter if his moves are mastered.
As mentioned earlier, Akuma debuted in Super Street Fighter II Turbo and was Capcom's response to all the myths that formed around their then successful fighting game due to a translation error. Ryu, after defeating an opponent, mentioned that "you must defeat Sheng Long to stand a chance." However, the correct phrase was "defeat the Dragon Punch to stand a chance." Hence, legends were made about Sheng Long's existence as a playable character, and even his appearance in the game was assured, according to a magazine that played an April Fool's Day joke.
Akuma appeared in the intro of Super Street Fighter II Turbo, and fighting him was not easy as it required the players' best performance and results in the battle. If successful, M. Bison was immediately defeated, leading to the final battle against Akuma.
