PlayStation is currently going through a crisis; however, it is a fact that its most prominent studios are cooking up highly anticipated exclusives. According to recent reports, one of the brand's newest and most beloved sagas will have a sequel and will be announced this year. We are referring to Ghost of Tsushima 2.
Insider says Ghost of Tsushima 2 will be revealed in a few months
Sucker Punch did an excellent job with Ghost of Tsushima, which became one of the best PlayStation 4 exclusives. Many gamers were left wanting more and have been asking for a sequel since 2020, the year the title was released.
According to insider Haothors, Ghost of Tsushima 2 is a done deal and it's a matter of months before its official announcement is made. It is speculated that it will be unveiled at the PlayStation Showcase that Sony will prepare for sometime in the middle of the year.
News about the sequel is expected in May or June, but there are no clues as to how long it might take for the sequel to debut. This is a report that got PlayStation fans excited; however, it's best to take it as just a rumor.
Now, it's also important to note that there are indications that Ghost of Tsushima 2 has been in development for some time. Various Sucker Punch vacancies have suggested that the project is in the works and many gamers are hoping that it won't be that long in coming.
Ghost of Tsushima had an excellent reception among gamers and critics. We know that Sucker Punch is indeed already working on something new, so it's not unreasonable to think that this is the long-awaited sequel that many fans are hoping for.
