In a statement, the board game specialist Modiphius announced the development of a Mass Effect installment, titled: Mass Effect: The Board Game - Priority: Hagalaz. According to the information, it is a board game and concept designed by Eric M. Lang and Calvin Wong Tze Loon, inspired by the events of Mass Effect 3, featuring characters such as Shepard, Liara, Tali, Wrex, and Garrus. It's an officially licensed board game.

Modiphius revealed that Mass Effect: The Board Game - Priority: Hagalaz will present a story and role-playing game that can be played solo but will also have a cooperative option for up to 4 players with a card system that will guide the story through different branches based on the situations faced and the decisions made by the player. Although the design of this board game was not shown, it was reported to feature 6 plastic miniatures of the characters with a size of 32 mm.
Mass Effect: The Board Game - Priority: Hagalaz will debut at some point this year, and for now, it will be the latest from the franchise, as BioWare is working on a new installment, with Dragon Age being the current priority.
