Nintendo Switch is slowly but surely approaching the end of its cycle, as rumors about the alleged successor make a lot of noise on the internet. According to a relatively reliable source, news about 2 of the most anticipated exclusives of 2024 will be shared very soon.
Last year, Nintendo confirmed that Luigi’s Mansion: Dark Moon, the second installment of the franchise that debuted on Nintendo 3DS, will arrive on the hybrid console in a new version that will improve the visual aspect. Still without a release date, we know it will debut at some point this summer.
On the other hand, Paper Mario: The Thousand-Year Door, the classic from GameCube that debuted back in 2004, will return with an ambitious remake. The project was announced in September 2023, but Nintendo only mentioned that it will be available at some point this year.

Earlier this week, a user on social media asked Nintendo to share more information about Paper Mario: The Thousand-Year Door during Mario Day, which is celebrated on March 10. The informant known as Pyoro, who has a solid track record of accuracy, intervened and gave hope to the community.
In a series of posts, the insider suggests that the Japanese company will share more information about both exclusives during the Mario Day celebrations.
Since Nintendo usually doesn't share information about its projects during weekends, it is very likely to provide more details about Luigi’s Mansion 2 HD and Paper Mario: The Thousand-Year Door in the days leading up to Mario Day celebrations.
Pyoro has already proven to be a relatively reliable source, as they shared accurate details about Super Mario Bros. Wonder, Super Mario RPG, and F-Zero days before the official announcements. However, we recommend approaching this information with caution and moderating expectations.
As for upcoming releases, Princess Peach: Showtime!, the new spin-off starring the princess of the Mushroom Kingdom, will be available on March 22, 2024. Finally, during the latest Nintendo Direct Partner Showcase, more indie and third-party games were announced to arrive on Nintendo Switch.
