A report indicates that EA is confident that the role-playing and adventure game will arrive in a few months.

After a period of instability and failures, BioWare seems to be back, but it is thought that everything could be at stake with the upcoming releases of Dragon Age and Mass Effect. The closest title so far is Dragon Age: Dreadwolf, and although there is no release window, reports ensure that we will see it this year.

Dragon Age: Dreadwolf would debut this year, reveals renowned insider

According to information from the well-known journalist and insider Jeff Grubb, the new installment of Dragon Age would be a few months away, as Electronic Arts, not BioWare, is confident that it will be shown in the summer and probably debut during the holiday season. According to Grubb (via Insider-Gaming), the release of Dragon Age: Dreadwolf is being considered by EA, but nothing is definite: "It will probably show up this summer. I don't know exactly when it will be shown. I guess at some point this summer, although it could happen at any time. It will be released this year, that's the latest I heard. They are pretty confident about that. It doesn't mean it's a guarantee; it could fall through, but right now, internally, they expect to launch it by the end of this year."

Dragon Age: Dreadwolf could be BioWare's redemption

Last year, information related to a wave of layoffs that affected the development of Dragon Age: Dreadwolf was revealed, mentioning that BioWare's intention was to release the medieval role-playing and adventure game in 2023; however, the departure of personnel in the quality control area prevented it.

Likewise, reports have indicated that EA's intention is to present updates on Dragon Age: Dreadwolf along with a window or release date, with a major announcement as the company believes it is a very good time for this type of video game.

So far, Dragon Age: Dreadwolf has yet to reveal the current state of the project, so we have to wait for an official announcement.
