Reddit user King_hack9 shared an image of a special piece of equipment for performing this type of medical examination. Gamers were in for a surprise, as they noticed that the machine has an integrated Xbox sensor.
The image even caught the attention of a specialist in the area, who stated that he uses the Kinect daily in his work. He stated that the device is very practical and helps to have accurate results; however, he acknowledged that sometimes he has to deal with its technology and its flaws.
"I have to tell my patients that I'm not playing Xbox in the control room when they notice it," the specialist said, as the brand's logo can be seen on the sensor.
Specifically, the Kinect is used to make topograms, which are a kind of map of a specific location within the body. Thus, it is used to help patients suffering from a disease that requires a tomography for its treatment.
