The Hello Kitty special edition console was distributed in Singapore years ago as part of a promotion. A retail chain offered it to customers who bought a television set priced at $5000 USD. As we told you, this is a very rare bundle, as there are only 550 units worldwide.
The bundle includes a original Xbox Crystal with a special design featuring characters from the beloved Japanese franchise. The console comes with a translucent controller, a copy of the game Hello Kitty: Roller Rescue, its box and manuals.
Someone decided to auction off their unit of the rare console and managed to sell it in short order for $10,050 USD. This caught the attention of many, especially since the console is broken.
In the description of the auction, held on eBay, it is made clear that the console does not turn on, but that someone with the necessary knowledge could repair it without much hassle. It also specifies that the controller and the game were not tested. Below you can see an image of the coveted item.
