Dead by Daylight continues to expand not only with new original Survivors and Killers, but also through collaborations with horror and entertainment franchises in general. Another collaboration is now available, and it is with one of the most important heavy metal bands in history.
Behaviour Interactive announced a collaboration with the British band Iron Maiden, through which Eddie the Head or Edward the Head, the band's mascot that has appeared on all their albums, will arrive in the isometric survival game.
These are not entirely new characters, but rather 4 outfits for Eddie that will showcase him as he appears on the covers of Stranger in a Strange Land, First appearance: Powerslave, Senjutsu, and X-Factor.
The Iron Maiden Collection is now available in Dead by Daylight
The alternate outfits are part of the Iron Maiden Collection and are Stranger Eddie, Pharaoh Eddie, Samurai Eddie, and Eddie's Tribute, which are outfits for The Deathslinger, The Doctor, The Oni, and The Dredge, respectively.
All 4 outfits are now available through the in-game store, along with Very Rare Tour T-shirts for all original Survivors.
"What a new and exciting collaboration to explore," said Kirby Taylor, product manager for Dead by Daylight. “Reviewing some of Eddie's iconic looks and figuring out which Killers we could pair them with was a delight. Our team did an amazing job filling in some gaps, as some of the appearances we based the outfits on only featured a partial look at Eddie, not his entire body. Additionally, our Survivors can also have fun with some tour T-shirts. A couple of them even have a little surprise, depending on the Survivor, but we'll let players find it out 
".
