SHIFT UP admitted they wanted the waifu to be attractive to fans.

Stellar Blade has captured the attention of the PlayStation community and gamers in general for its interesting premise of stylized futuristic combat with beautiful character designs. One of the characters that has stood out the most is the protagonist, who has dazzled not only with her proportions but also with her cute face, leaving the internet with an important question: who is the actress whose face served as the basis for the character? We now know.

It was an open secret that Shin Jae-eun is the model the studio used to create Eve's aesthetic body. However, until now, no one had officially confirmed that the actress's body served as the basis for the character. Nevertheless, the CEO of SHIFT UP and the main person in charge of the project has just confirmed it.

Who is Eve's facial actress in Stellar Blade?

However, given the little resemblance between Eve's face and the Korean model, there was doubt about who had been responsible for lending her face to create the beautiful fictional character.

Well, Push Square took advantage of a recent conversation with Kim Hyung Tae, CEO of SHIFT UP and director of the title, to ask about it, and it was confirmed that Eve does not have a facial model, but rather an original face created by the studio's artists.

"We thought her body shape [of Shin Jae-eun] would be a good reference for the character we wanted. But the face was created internally originally: it's just the model's body that we scanned for the game," revealed Hyung Tae.

SHIFT UP has no shame in creating attractive characters

Something that characterizes SHIFT UP is that they do not hesitate to show their intentions of creating characters with sexual appeal, and Stellar Blade is no exception. The studio head confirmed that Eve was made so beautiful to be attractive to fans.

"Of course, it depends on how you define beautiful bodies, but for us, it was about creating the most attractive body for the user. That's why we made the decision to work with her [ Shin Jae-eun]."

In case you missed it: NieR: Automata had a collaboration with the steamy game from SHIFT UP, NIKKE.
