MrBeast criticizes Pokémon after Palworld controversy; fans ask him to make a better game

The youtuber is another fan who is dissatisfied with Nintendo's franchise

The controversy between Pokémon and Palworld is one of the most discussed topics on social networks. Popular youtuber James Stephen Donaldson, better known as MrBeast, surprisingly joined the conversation and launched a critique of Nintendo's franchise. This prompted many followers of the content creator to ask him to create his own monster game.

MrBeast is not happy with the current state of Pokémon

It all started when the X account of the Opera GX browser made a controversial post that caught the attention of millions of gamers. It shows an image comparing the graphics of Pokémon Scarlet & Violet and Palworld.

In the publication, users of the social network are asked which they think is the game developed by a multi-million dollar company. This generated all kinds of opinions, as visually Palworld overshadows the Switch games quite a bit.

To everyone's surprise, MrBeast responded to the publication and declared himself a fan of Pokémon. He assured that since he was a child, he enjoyed its games, however, he finds it unbelievable that the formula has remained the same after so many years.

"I grew up playing so much Pokémon on my Game Boy and it’s crazy that all the games now are still basically the same thing. I’d would give anything for them to reinvent the model and just slightly try to freshen it upstated the content creator.

Because of this, many X users asked MrBeast to create a development studio and work on his own monster game. Others complained to the youtuber, as they believe that Legends Arceus is a step forward for the franchise and that he should try it before giving his opinion.
