One of the most anticipated video games of 2024 is Final Fantasy VII Rebirth, and understandably so. Surprisingly, four years have passed since the release of Final Fantasy VII Remake, and it's time to continue the story. Today, a few weeks before the release, Square Enix surprised fans with a new and spectacular trailer.

The official Square Enix accounts excelled with the release of a new trailer for Final Fantasy VII Rebirth. The trailer provides a general overview of some important moments and events that will take place in this second part of the ambitious remake project. The video highlights the devastation caused by Sephiroth during the Nibelheim Incident and previews a new episode in his deadly duel.
Additionally, we get to see the redesigned Starboard Junon and its iconic military parade to welcome President Rufus Shinra, not forgetting its lively city life and activities, confirming that there will be much to do as the adventure, this time, expands beyond Midgar.

What's new in the Final Fantasy VII Rebirth trailer?
The Final Fantasy VII Rebirth trailer also showcases changes to the Shinra-8, which transitions from a military-type vessel to a cruise ship. Its function remains the same, transporting passengers between continents, but the conceptual change will present us with different spaces to interact with and activities to do before reaching the destination.
Similarly, we are introduced to new characters such as the adorable but deadly Cait Sith and Moogle; Elena, a young talent from Shinra's General Affairs Division, and Captain Titov, in charge of the Shinra-8.
Finally, the Final Fantasy VII Rebirth trailer displays the combat abilities and special moves of Yuffie.
Final Fantasy VII Rebirth will debut on February 29 as a console exclusive on PlayStation 5.
