Camelot Software's titles made history on the wonderful Game Boy Advance

Today is a celebration for Nintendo fans, especially those who enjoyed the golden era of the Game Boy Advance, as two of its best games will make their way to Switch through its online service. Yes, it's about two cult RPGs that marked a glorious era for the handheld console.

The Game Boy Advance Golden Sun games are finally coming to Switch Online

Nintendo has just fulfilled one of the great wishes of fans of its old game catalog by announcing that the two entries of Golden Sun released on the Game Boy Advance are ready to arrive on Switch Online + Expansion Pack. These are Golden Sun and Golden Sun: The Lost Age, cult RPGs developed by Camelot Software Planning with releases in 2001 and 2003 respectively, becoming favorites among handheld console users and ranking among the best games in the genre in history.

According to the official information, Golden Sun and Golden Sun: The Lost Age will come to Switch Online + Expansion Pack on January 17, so there are only a few days left to enjoy two of the best RPGs ever created.

The Golden Sun franchise has maintained its cult status, with only three releases in 23 years, with Golden Sun: Dark Dawn in 2010 for Nintendo DS being the latest. Despite fans' requests for a new release, Camelot Software Planning has not been considered by Nintendo for this, and for years, they have been dedicated to Super Mario Bros. sports titles, with Mario Golf: Super Rush being their most recent game for Switch in 2021.
