According to Insider Gaming, SEGA has even more projects related to classic franchises. Specifically, it would be working on new installments of Panzer Dragoon and Sakura Wars, which have remained active despite the years.

What's interesting is that the report also claims that the Japanese company will be making a new Neon Genesis Evangelion game. In case you don't know, SEGA previously worked with the franchise, so several titles inspired by it came to their consoles in Japan.

According to the details, the 3 projects are still in an early stage of development and there are at least 2 other titles related to classic franchises that could be approved in the future. Unfortunately, there is no precise information on any of the above titles.

Of course, the idea of seeing a new Neon Genesis Evangelion game excites fans; however, it is important to mention that this information is for now a rumor even though it comes from a good source.

SEGA has already confirmed new installments of some of its most iconic franchises, but has not talked about new projects of Panzer Dragoon, Sakura Wars or Neon Genesis Evangelion. So we will have to wait for more details to emerge.
