Apple took everyone by surprise when it unveiled Vision Pro, its mixed reality device, in June 2023. The months have passed quickly and the headset finally has a release date. This was confirmed by the company through a statement, where it informs about its release, pre-sale and availability.
Apple Vision Pro to debut soon, but won't be available to all
Apple reaffirmed that their new device will offer a very special and highly immersive experience. In case you don't remember, its concept is based on spatial computing, which seeks to take digital content and applications beyond traditional screens. In this way, users will be able to interact, organize and scale content in their everyday space.
The company confirmed that its new product will be launched on February 2. However, at first it will only be available at Apple Stores in the United States. Pre-sales will begin on Friday January 19. As for its price, it was reaffirmed that it will retail for $3,499 USD.
This initial version of the Apple Vision Pro will have 256 GB of storage and will include various accessories, such as the Solo Knit Band, the Dual Loop Band, pads, a cover, a cloth, charging cable and more to make the user experience intuitive.
Unfortunately, Apple has not confirmed a release date for its product in other regions. Since its presentation, it was confirmed that it would not be available in other countries at launch. So we can only wait for more information about its global debut.
